escapism ! :) #melakapart2

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Alhamdulillah...thank you Allah for still give me a chance to take a breath in the awesome world. :)
how are you doing my handsome and pretty friends ?
i hope all of you are doing fine and always in Allah's blessing, Insyaallah ^_^

do you remember about my previous entry ?
i do promise you to share my story in Malacca right?
so here we gooooooooooooooo.
tonight, I'm gonna share to all of you about my 2nd day in Malacca.

so, as a tourism planning student, of course we came to Malacca not only to enjoy but most crucial thing is to do a site visit.
thus, regarding to my lecturer - Sister Nelza, the best way to do a site visit in Malacca is by cycling.
-,-
imma the happiest girl in the world when i heard that.
UNFORTUNATELY, cycling in Malacca not really fulfill my high expectation :(
you know why ?
then you have to read this entry till the end :P

as my friends and me have a lot of things to do, so we decided to leave the guesthouse early in the morning.
but first, we have to go to rental bicycle first.
remember my previous entry?  the shop where tourist can rent a bicycle ?
yeah. we went there!

 happy me is happy ^_^

as far as i remembered, we only need to pay rm10  for a day ( i mean 24 hours).
but you also can rent a bicycle from 930 am to 10 pm for rm10 too !
worth is it ?
but if you only want to rent a bicycle for a couple hours, you only have to pay rm3 per hour.
i think its quite worth as the bicycles that they provided are good in quality :D

the most crucial thing that you to bear in your mind if you keen to cycling around Malacca is "safety first"

honestly speaking, cycling around Malacca City is not really safe especially for those who just know ride a bicycle.
you have to cope with a very busy road and also a terrible traffic congestion.
not every driver can consider you as a bicycle driver.
from my experience, most of the drivers not really care about the safety of people who ride a bicycle.

as i the first one who success to cross the road, i decided to take a video of busy road in Malacca.
this is the main road that everyone use.
a very narrow road.
there is no a bicycle pathway at all and you have to be brave enough to cycle together with another
transportation.

at first we decided to pay a visit to Baba Nyonya Museum .
however, the entrance fees really disappoint us.
its so expensive especially for students like us.

and then we continued cycling until we found a very pleasant place to rest.
this is the only road where we can stop and take a rest.

after doing survey for hours, we finally stop at the gazebo nearest to Malacca River.

finally, after long hours of cycling and doing survey, we eventually can take a rest.
the view from this gazebo really calm my mind and heart after having a rough day of cycling.
while you seat here, you can see tourist enjoy the cruise in Malacca.

and alhamdulillah.
while we are doing a survey, there is someone (local citizen) who give me a dessert.
maybe our faces looks so hungry at that mean times. hehe.

alhamdulillah.
im happy to death while received this as my tummy singing non-stop when am cycling.
HEHE :)

so after we take a break and eating, we continued cycling.
and know what.
we finally meet a popular place in Malacca which is the stall in front of Victoria Fountain (the Stadhuys).

according to Malacca people, this is the must visited stalls for tourists when they came to Malacca.

this coconut shake and cendol are so yummy and delicious.
the best remedy to cool yourself after having a rough day in Malacca by having a cup of cendol and Coconut Shake ! ^_^

and thennnnn,
after we finished our Zuhr Prayer, we again continued our journey to Istana Kesultanan Melaka
or Malacca Sultanate Palace.

this is the popular pit stop for tourist either local or international as this is the only prove that Malacca
once have a Sultan.

unfortunately, this building is not a very real Palace as the previous place was get burned
and its completely destroyed.

so, the Government of  Malacca take an initiative to rebuild the Palace in remembering the late history of Malacca.

this is the view inside of the Palace.

there are lots of history that you can gain here.

and after spent lots of hour here, we finally received a call from our lecturer.
our last pit stop is Kampung Morten.

Kampung Morten is the malay village where tourist can pay a visit here in order to experience the
Malay's lifestyle in Malacca.

in addition, there is also the living museum here which is Museum Sentosa.
tourist can pay a visit here as this is the old house in Malacca.

this museum located in front of Malacca River.
if you are riding a Cruise in Malacca, you can see this museum clearly.
its so beautiful. the architecture of this house is really niche and really catch my eyes.

FYI, for Malacca people, the design stairs of each house is really important as it represented the strength of the people in Malacca.

you may find a various design of stairs in Malacca and its the captured the pride of owner for each house.

this is the view of Malacca from Kg Morten.
subhanallah.
i feel really calm while cycling here. there is no words can describe my feeling.
i'm feeling really calm.

you also can view a sunset from here and its really beautiful.
subhanallah.

how i wish i can wake up to this view for every single day. :')

and last but not least,
after having a very hectic day of cycling,
we finally take cruise !!!

the night view in Malacca city is so amazing.
i'm so amazed as its so pretty.
with the light along the river , and the wind , argh its so calm.

how i wish i can come again to Malacca.
though ive been here for so many times, but it never gets me bored.

i dont even know whats so special about Malacca.
but theres always desire in my heart to keep come here over and over again.

:)
