Janda Baik

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

halo people !
may all of you are fit as a fiddle :)
insyaallah :)

i'm so busy lately as this is my study week.
though my examination will start on May 19th, but I have to start study right now to ace a test :(
okay, forget about examination!!
lets start over with my short escape to Janda Baik, Pahang.

even I'm studying at IIUM which is very near to Janda Baik, but this is my very first time arrived there.

it took almost 40 minutes only from IIUM Gombak to Janda Baik if you are using Karak Highway.
just follow the road to Genting Sempah and finally you will find a roundabout to Janda Baik :)
its quite easy route for me though :)

i went to Janda Baik with my other 7 girl best friends :)
we depart from IIUM around 10 in the morning as my other friends having class on Saturday morning.

so, to save budget, i me myself cooked for our brunch(breakfast and lunch) with all my heart . hehehe.
though the taste is not so yummy but i just love cooking. and i love when people eat what I've cooked :)

so actually, there are lots of places in Janda Baik that you can choose to picnic.
so after searching for many places, we finally choose to picnic at Riverside Janda Baik.
plus, the price that they have offered only RM15 for each gazebo. so its quite okay for me.
at first, i want to picnic at the other places but we have to pay RM40.
its quite expensive for us.

so, i'll treat you with my pictures while we are in Janda Baik.
the water is so cool and we felt so happy .
as we stuck in IIUM cuddling with tons of assignments, so picnic is the best remedy for our stress.

see.
our faces look really happy right?
ya allah. alhamdulillah .

[29:20] Say: Travel through the earth and see how Allah originated creation; so will Allah produce the second creation (of the Afterlife): for Allah has power over all things.

ALLAH S.W.T already said in Holy Quran so that travel through the earth and sew how Allah originated creation.

ya allah.
I'm trully bless that I can see how beautiful Allah created everything He wants in this world.

SUBHANALLAH.
it is true, by travelling you can find peace and something that you never see before.

right now i honestly believe that experience is the best teacher in the world.
hence, to gain experience, first you have to travel and see nature :)

after spent lot of hours in the river, we finally decided to come back to IIUM.
as the time goes faster, we have to come back early :)

ouh, not to forget :
there are also washrooms along the Riverside.
so you dont have to worry to change your clothes. :)

you dont have to pay anything ^_^
its free of charge.
the toilets provides also clean :)

thats all for today :)

escapism ! :) #melakapart2

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Alhamdulillah...thank you Allah for still give me a chance to take a breath in the awesome world. :)
how are you doing my handsome and pretty friends ?
i hope all of you are doing fine and always in Allah's blessing, Insyaallah ^_^

do you remember about my previous entry ?
i do promise you to share my story in Malacca right?
so here we gooooooooooooooo.
tonight, I'm gonna share to all of you about my 2nd day in Malacca.

so, as a tourism planning student, of course we came to Malacca not only to enjoy but most crucial thing is to do a site visit.
thus, regarding to my lecturer - Sister Nelza, the best way to do a site visit in Malacca is by cycling.
-,-
imma the happiest girl in the world when i heard that.
UNFORTUNATELY, cycling in Malacca not really fulfill my high expectation :(
you know why ?
then you have to read this entry till the end :P

as my friends and me have a lot of things to do, so we decided to leave the guesthouse early in the morning.
but first, we have to go to rental bicycle first.
remember my previous entry?  the shop where tourist can rent a bicycle ?
yeah. we went there!

 happy me is happy ^_^

as far as i remembered, we only need to pay rm10  for a day ( i mean 24 hours).
but you also can rent a bicycle from 930 am to 10 pm for rm10 too !
worth is it ?
but if you only want to rent a bicycle for a couple hours, you only have to pay rm3 per hour.
i think its quite worth as the bicycles that they provided are good in quality :D

the most crucial thing that you to bear in your mind if you keen to cycling around Malacca is "safety first"

honestly speaking, cycling around Malacca City is not really safe especially for those who just know ride a bicycle.
you have to cope with a very busy road and also a terrible traffic congestion.
not every driver can consider you as a bicycle driver.
from my experience, most of the drivers not really care about the safety of people who ride a bicycle.

as i the first one who success to cross the road, i decided to take a video of busy road in Malacca.
this is the main road that everyone use.
a very narrow road.
there is no a bicycle pathway at all and you have to be brave enough to cycle together with another
transportation.

at first we decided to pay a visit to Baba Nyonya Museum .
however, the entrance fees really disappoint us.
its so expensive especially for students like us.

and then we continued cycling until we found a very pleasant place to rest.
this is the only road where we can stop and take a rest.

after doing survey for hours, we finally stop at the gazebo nearest to Malacca River.

finally, after long hours of cycling and doing survey, we eventually can take a rest.
the view from this gazebo really calm my mind and heart after having a rough day of cycling.
while you seat here, you can see tourist enjoy the cruise in Malacca.

and alhamdulillah.
while we are doing a survey, there is someone (local citizen) who give me a dessert.
maybe our faces looks so hungry at that mean times. hehe.

alhamdulillah.
im happy to death while received this as my tummy singing non-stop when am cycling.
HEHE :)

so after we take a break and eating, we continued cycling.
and know what.
we finally meet a popular place in Malacca which is the stall in front of Victoria Fountain (the Stadhuys).

according to Malacca people, this is the must visited stalls for tourists when they came to Malacca.

this coconut shake and cendol are so yummy and delicious.
the best remedy to cool yourself after having a rough day in Malacca by having a cup of cendol and Coconut Shake ! ^_^

and thennnnn,
after we finished our Zuhr Prayer, we again continued our journey to Istana Kesultanan Melaka
or Malacca Sultanate Palace.

this is the popular pit stop for tourist either local or international as this is the only prove that Malacca
once have a Sultan.

unfortunately, this building is not a very real Palace as the previous place was get burned
and its completely destroyed.

so, the Government of  Malacca take an initiative to rebuild the Palace in remembering the late history of Malacca.

this is the view inside of the Palace.

there are lots of history that you can gain here.

and after spent lots of hour here, we finally received a call from our lecturer.
our last pit stop is Kampung Morten.

Kampung Morten is the malay village where tourist can pay a visit here in order to experience the
Malay's lifestyle in Malacca.

in addition, there is also the living museum here which is Museum Sentosa.
tourist can pay a visit here as this is the old house in Malacca.

this museum located in front of Malacca River.
if you are riding a Cruise in Malacca, you can see this museum clearly.
its so beautiful. the architecture of this house is really niche and really catch my eyes.

FYI, for Malacca people, the design stairs of each house is really important as it represented the strength of the people in Malacca.

you may find a various design of stairs in Malacca and its the captured the pride of owner for each house.

this is the view of Malacca from Kg Morten.
subhanallah.
i feel really calm while cycling here. there is no words can describe my feeling.
i'm feeling really calm.

you also can view a sunset from here and its really beautiful.
subhanallah.

how i wish i can wake up to this view for every single day. :')

and last but not least,
after having a very hectic day of cycling,
we finally take cruise !!!

the night view in Malacca city is so amazing.
i'm so amazed as its so pretty.
with the light along the river , and the wind , argh its so calm.

how i wish i can come again to Malacca.
though ive been here for so many times, but it never gets me bored.

i dont even know whats so special about Malacca.
but theres always desire in my heart to keep come here over and over again.

:)

Whats Different about Malacca ? :) #melakapart1

Assalamualaikum J

It’s been about two weeks that I did not post anything on my blog.
Those hectic weeks does not allowed me even a day to cuddle with my blog.
One of the sad things about being a student -,-
HOW I WISH I CAN STOP STUDY AND GET MARRIED SO SOON ! HAHAHA

Okay , proceed to my entry for this time.
Today, I will share something about Malacca.
Actually, I have been to Malacca for few times, but this kind of trip gets little different as I go there as a student who need to settle down her task L
Actually, I've been to Malacca on March 20 till March 22nd. It’s not so long trip but I think it’s worth trip ! ^_^

We stayed at Mari-Mari Guesthouse for 3 days 2 nights.
I think this Guesthouse quite satisfied me as a backpacker tourist. Herrmm , but I don’t think it’s suit for a family to stay here.
The price that they offered also affordable cause it cost only RM35/day. As I choose a standard room with Air Conditioning, so I only have to pay RM35 for 3 days 'cause I shared the room with 2 my best friends. The bed that they provided was King size bed so it suit for 3 people to sleep with. HEHEHE.

this is the room that I slept :)

Another best damn thing about this guesthouse is washroom!
I admit I am the type of people who is too choosy about toilet. But overall, I think their toilet is quite good and clean. Moreover, they provided about 4 washrooms, so you do not have to worry ! take a bath as long as you want :P

As I arrived in Malacca, my first stop of course Kota A Famosa .
The weather in Malacca is so hot . I even wear a glasses and my so British hat :P
Not to forget, use your sun blocks protection. This kind of weather is very harmful to your skin structure either you are man or woman :)

 A' Famosa

Independence Memorial

then, we went to St. Paul Hill. fuhh, as the weather is so hot, so the stairs to climb the hill really make me angry :(

but, as soon as i reached the top, it's feel so calm.
the view of Malacca City form the top :)

As the weather is too damn hot , me and my friends decide to take a rest at Taman Bunga Merdeka. it's located infront of UMNO Museum in Dataran Pahlawan :)

frankly speaking, this garden is too beautiful because its surrounded with too many beautiful flowers that can catch your eyes.
maybe this is the best place to take a rest after you are tired walking around Dataran Pahlawan. ^_^

after too many hours passes by, we went to Jonker Walk.
you would regret if you come to Malacaa but you does not visit Jonker Walk?
have you ever heard about Jonker Walk ?
actually Jonker Walk is the place where local citizens especially Chinese open their stall along Harmony Street.
there are various of stall you can find here either food, souvenir and not to forget of course jewelery stall ^_^

FYI, Jonker Walk only open on weekend from 5pm till midnight.
i highly recommended you to pay a visit here in Night as the view is very differ compared to afternoon view :)

after took so many hours in Jonker Walk, we decided to end our first day in Malacca by walking around in Jalan Tukang Besi.
actually this route located next to Jonker Walk street.

nothing special here but at least you can visit Masjid Kg Kling.
and what the best thing is you can pay a visit to Hello Kityy Guesthouse if you are a dead fan of Hello Kitty :)

and one more crucial thing here ,
if you decided to rent a bicycle, you can find lots of rental bicycle shop along in Jalan Tukang Besi :)

actually , thats all for today. thats only  A DAY .
there are remain 2 days more that i want to share with you while we are in Malacca City.
hehe.
just wait and see yaaa ^_^

Assalamualaikum :)
